Exol sponsors exclusive Rugby shirt for Acorns charity game

Exol has lent its support to Acorns Charity by sponsoring a limited-edition Worcester Warriors match-day shirt.

The shirt, featuring the distinctive Exol logo, will be worn by the players in the Gallagher Premiership match against Bath Rugby at Sixways on Saturday February 15 (kick-off 3.00pm) and will then go for auction.

The new Valentine’s Day-themed shirt is a colourful addition to the 2019/20 shirt collection and was designed by eight-year-old Warriors fan Tommy Smallpage.

The limited-edition shirts will be available to purchase from the Sixways Store on the day of the big game with all proceeds going to Acorns, a charity that supports children with life-shortening or life-threatening conditions and their families.
Warriors hooker, Niall Annett, who is the club’s Acorns Player Ambassador, said: “The Acorns Charity Matchday is an annual fixture for us and one that we always look forward to. It’s a change of strip for us too and it is an opportunity to raise money for such an amazing cause.”

Exol is a major shirt sponsor of Worcester Warriors, with its branding featured on both home and away kits. It is also sponsor for full-back and Warriors legend Chris Pennell, reflecting the company’s ongoing passion and commitment to the sport.

Steve Everitt, Exol group managing director, said: “It’s a proud moment for everyone at Exol to sponsor this limited edition shirt, which will raise much needed funds for Acorns Charity. Each year, through various different ways, Exol raises funds for charities throughout the UK and overseas and so we’re delighted to be so closely involved with Worcester Warriors on their latest fund-raising initiative.”
