The “Who is Who” of the European IAM parts distribution 2018 – new poster from Wolk

The automotive aftermarket has been constantly changing in recent years. The current biggest player on the market – US-owned LKQ Corporation – entered Europe in 2011. In 2017 it acquired German Stahlgruber. As of July 2018, the Mekonomen Group from Sweden, already 26.5% owned by LKQ, became the owner of Danish FTZ and Polish Inter-Team distributors. The second in the ranking, AAG, is owned by yet another US company – Genuine Parts Company (GPC).

With Wolk’s new 2018 edition of their “Who’s Who“ of the IAM parts distribution 2018 poster, they provide a structured market overview of the largest players in the European car parts wholesale business.

Contents of the poster:

  • The most important IAM car parts distributors in European and their turnover
  • Ranking of the top 10 by sales, employees, and number of branches
  • To which trade and buying group do they belong to (ATR, Temot, GAI, AD, Nexus and Global One Automotive)?
  • Which garage marketing systems do they provide?

The poster offers an excellent market overview. It helps, for example, new employees to orientate themselves in the market and to support established colleagues in discussions about the European car parts distributors market.
