The IAAF has announced that the first event for 2018 will take place on Thursday 15th March at Phocas Software’s premises in Coventry. This follows on from the very successful sessions held during 2017.
There will be two main topics covered during the session. The first will be the new General Data Protection Regulation which comes into effect in May of this year, which will be covered by Lawgistics who will look at what businesses will need to have in place in order to comply with the Regulation.
The second topic will look at how PHEVs and the new Fuel Cell Technology vehicles will affect the aftermarket; this will be covered by Steve Carter of Train4Auto consultancy who will be talking about this growing sector of the marketplace.
Mike Smallbone, IAAF’s Membership Development Manager, said: “These sessions are an essential and useful way to engage with members and ensure they are up to date on the most recent issues affecting the aftermarket. We strongly encourage members to attend our other briefings as the year continues.”
The regional sessions begin at 10.00 am offering the chance to network over a coffee, then finishing at 1.00 pm with lunch.
Spaces at these sessions are limited and anyone interested in attending should download and complete the Booking Form and then return it to the IAAF Office, either by EMAIL or by post. Further information is available from the IAAF Office and full details will be provided to all attendees.
